BoomTranslate provides certified document translation, legal, medical, business & corporate, and technical translation, website & software localization scoping and project work, interpreting services, and subtitling, captioning, and transcription services, as described on each service page.
An order is placed when you complete checkout on this site or when we confirm a quote in writing. Placing an order is your agreement to these Terms and to the price, tier, and add-ons shown at checkout. We confirm every order by email with an order reference number.
Prices are shown per unit (per page, per word, per hour, or per minute) on each service page and the Pricing page, and are the prices charged at checkout — nothing is added afterward that wasn't shown before you paid. Payment is due at checkout through our payment processor. We do not store your card details.
Turnaround times are stated per service and tier on each service page and begin once we have received your files and assigned a linguist. Delivery is digital by default; hard-copy mail is available as an add-on where offered. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect contact information, delayed file delivery on your part, or events outside our control.
Full terms are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. In summary: cancellations are free before a linguist is assigned, pro-rata once work has begun, and non-refundable after delivery — remedied instead by our revision and acceptance guarantees.
You are responsible for having the right to submit any document, content, or material you send us for translation, interpreting, or media services. Every linguist who works on your order works under a confidentiality agreement. An NDA is available on request before you send sensitive material.
Once your order is paid in full, ownership of the finished translation, transcript, or subtitle file transfers to you. We retain no ownership claim over the delivered work. Source material you provide remains yours; we do not use it for any purpose beyond completing your order.
We provide our services with the care described on this site — a described two-linguist process, stated turnaround commitments, and the guarantees in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Beyond those stated commitments, our services are provided without further warranty, to the fullest extent the law allows. Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of a translation, including a third party's decision to accept or reject a document, except where that rejection is covered by our acceptance guarantee.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.
We may update these Terms as our services change. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use the site or place an order after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
