When you place an order, request a quote, or contact us, we collect the information you give us directly: name, email address, phone number, company (if applicable), and postal address (only when a physical add-on requires shipping). We also collect information about your order: the document or content type, language pair, page or word count, service tier and add-ons selected, order history, and payment status.

We do not collect or store payment card details. Card information you enter at checkout is handled by our payment processor and is never transmitted to or stored on this website.

We do not host file uploads. If you send us a document by email or a shared link at checkout, we retain it only as needed to complete and support your order, as described below.

How We Use Information

We use the information above to process and deliver your order, communicate with you about it, provide support, and meet our own legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to providing our services.

Cookies & Analytics

This site uses two categories of cookies:

• Strictly necessary — required to run the site, including remembering the contents of your cart. These cannot be turned off, and no consent banner blocks them, because the site cannot function without them.
• Analytics (Google Analytics 4) — used, only if you agree, to understand which pages are used and how. This is the only analytics or marketing tool this site uses.

Sharing & Sub-Processors

We share information only as needed to provide our services:

• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — site usage analytics, only after you consent.
• Our payment processor — to process checkout payments. We do not receive or store your card details.
• The linguists and reviewers assigned to your order — under a confidentiality agreement, to complete the translation, interpreting, or media service you ordered.
• Our mail/lead-handling provider, if you submit the Contact form — to deliver your message to us.

We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

Data Retention

We keep order and account information for as long as needed to complete your order, support you afterward, and meet our accounting and legal obligations. Files you send us are kept only as long as needed for the same purposes and are not shared beyond the linguists assigned to your project.

Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email support@boomtranslate.com with your request, and we will respond as promptly as we reasonably can. If you are contacting us from outside the United States, you have the same rights of access, correction, and deletion as a courtesy, regardless of your local law's specific requirements.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you give us, including not storing payment card data on this site at all. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
