What does "certified translation" mean?
It means the translation ships with a signed Certificate of Accuracy — a statement that the translation is complete and accurate, issued by BoomTranslate with every certified order. It's different from notarized (a notary witnessing the signature) and apostilled (a government authentication for use abroad). Full comparison on our FAQ page.
How is the price calculated?
By service: certified documents are priced per page (≤250 words), legal/medical/business/technical translation per word, interpreting per hour, and subtitling/transcription per minute. Every price is on the service’s own page and the Pricing page before you order.
Do I need to call before I order?
No. Priced services can be added to your cart and ordered online, day or night. Call or email us only if your project doesn't fit a listed service — most often that's a large-scale localization project.
How do I send you my document?
At checkout you'll choose to email your files to support@boomtranslate.com or share a link. We don't host file uploads on this site, so nothing is stored here — just sent directly to your assigned linguist.
What if my certified translation is rejected?
If a US government agency, court, or academic institution rejects it for translation quality or certification format, we re-translate and re-certify it at no charge, or refund that document in full.
